First check the house consumer unit and make sure all the switches are up.
For a built in single oven check inside the cupboards on either side of the oven for a plug. make sure the plug is inserted and the socket is switched on.
Try plugging something else in the socket to see if there is power getting to the socket.
Check the fuse in the plug, it should be 13amps.
If the socket is live and you have changed the fuse but the oven is still dead give us a call and we will be able to give you a quotation for a repair.
First make sure the fan inside the oven is working. Before you turn the oven on open the door and see if you can make out the fan blade behind the guard.
Switch the oven on to the fan oven setting and see if you can see the fan blade spinning.
Beware that on some models of ovens the fan motor will only spin when the door is closed. shut the door for 10 seconds, open the door and see if you can see the fan blade slowing down.
If the fan blade is spinning but there is no heat the fault could be the fan element or the thermostat is faulty.
